Rick Doran has written a book entitled Lest the Memories Be Forgotten which chronicles the history of the Dayton Ambassadors between 1967 and 1997. The book is filled with photographs and includes information about many of the current and former members of the group. This book is also available for purchase through The Dayton Ambassadors.

Doran, baritone singer for the quartet from 1977 through 2008, has authored a
